CT Group Việt Nam is seeking a Computational Simulation Engineer to join the Sounding Rocket Program team.

This role focuses on performing advanced structural, thermal, and aerodynamic simulations to support the development of sounding rockets.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in computational simulation for aerospace systems.

• Strong background in FEA and/or CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, Fluent, OpenFOAM, or equivalent).

• Experience with launch vehicle, missile, or high-speed aerospace systems preferred.

• Knowledge of dynamic loads, structural dynamics, and thermal environments.

• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering computing tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

• Experience with sounding rockets, launch vehicles, or propulsion systems.

• Familiarity with systems engineering processes and model validation.

• Experience correlating simulation results with ground or flight test data.

• Leadership experience in technical teams.

• Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA) of rocket airframe, motor casing, and payload structures.

• Conduct CFD simulations of internal propulsion flowfields and external aerodynamics.

• Develop aero-thermal-structural coupled models.

• Analyze launch-induced environments (random vibration, acoustics, shock).

• Support trajectory modeling and flight dynamics simulation.

• Correlate analytical models with test data and refine predictive tools.

• Collaborate with propulsion, structures, avionics, and systems engineering teams.

• Establish simulation standards, documentation practices, and verification methodologies.
