The Finance, Accounting, and Tax Operations Manager holds full accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and performance of Bumame’s finance, accounting, and tax functions.

This role ensures timely financial closing, compliant financial reporting, and effective tax management while driving continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls.

The Manager leads the FAT Operations team and supports sustainable business growth in a regulated healthcare environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or tax operations

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations

• Experience in managing financial closing, audits, and compliance in a regulated environment

• Proficient in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, BI tools)

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Own and oversee daily finance and accounting operations end to end

• Ensure accurate and timely financial records, month-end close, and management reporting

• Maintain accountability for financial data integrity, internal controls, and documentation

• Drive delivery of financial performance across revenue tracking, cost control, cash flow, and profitability

• Own operating expense and people cost tracking in alignment with business objectives

• Translate financial results into clear insights to support decision-making and performance improvement

• Identify finance and accounting issues and design practical, scalable solutions

• Manage internal stakeholders to execute and implement agreed solutions

• Independently solve complex and abstract problems with limited supervision

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements

• Proactively identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation actions

• Act as the primary point of accountability for internal or external audits

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes across functions

• Ensure consistent budget vs actual tracking, variance analysis, and follow-up
