We are seeking a Backend Engineer to maintain and enhance the reliability of Kalibrr Indonesia’s platform.

This role involves working on backend services, distributed systems, and data infrastructure that support core product features.

Ideal for engineers who enjoy debugging production systems and improving large-scale backend infrastructure.

• Experience with Python-based backend development.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka).

• Experience with asynchronous workers and data pipelines.

• Knowledge of search and indexing systems (e.g., Elasticsearch).

• Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL databases and optimizing queries.

• Experience in debugging and resolving production issues.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

• Build and maintain backend services using Python.

• Design and improve REST APIs for internal and external systems.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the team.

• Work with event-driven systems powered by Apache Kafka.

• Support asynchronous workers and backend processes handling large-scale data operations.

• Troubleshoot and improve data pipelines and background processing systems.

• Support search and indexing infrastructure powered by Elasticsearch.

• Work with PostgreSQL databases to troubleshoot queries and improve performance.

• Help investigate and resolve production incidents or performance issues.

• Debug problems related to workers, streaming pipelines, or distributed services.

• Contribute improvements to reduce operational risks and technical debt.
