Job description for Accountant (Intermediate) at Silicon Stack Pty Ltd About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team and support day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities.

• You will work closely with the Finance Manager and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting functions including bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, and reporting.

• Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & General Ledger Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations Prepare journal entries with proper supporting documentation Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Tax & Compliance (Australia) Prepare GST, BAS, and IAS for review Support tax compliance and lodgements with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Assist with FBT and income tax workings Payroll Support Assist in payroll processing and data preparation Support superannuation and STP reporting Accounts Receivable & Payable Process invoices, payments, and receipts Follow up on outstanding receivables Maintain vendor and customer records Reporting Assist in preparing management reports (P&L, balance sheet) Support the Finance Manager with analysis and reporting tasks Experience & Skills 3–4 years of accounting experience Basic knowledge of GST/BAS and accounting principles Experience with Xero and/or MYOB is preferred Good Excel skills Attributes High attention to detail Willing to learn and take guidance Good communication skills Reliable and able to meet deadlines
